Literature Text

To the whims of the whisper, the age of the peel,

and to the ones that lisp the veil, that draw symptom's now cut.

To un-announce with blistered skin, as to the streams of words which are but akin,

to the breath of the slurred spitting tongue, as is the heavy lung,

and blackened pale within a dream, eyes that are heavy look beyond yet cannot see.

The ones without the kept and the ones whom seek relief,

as is hidden within us all but a lie, buried to the turning wheels, are the hands of time,

cracking bones and ashened urn's bore us to naught, is to that which we have earned and burned to ice.

As those winds strip, they are as blind, as the weary moon whom bled but a sigh,

as to the sky, to become an unending winding, and to beckon disease, to shine on us, to writhe, to seethe.

The only comfort in this dreary veil, is to turn twisting paths and heightened sense, into woven recompense,

within whom we shed a final time, the tortured life.

A place inside the weary dread, of time better spent, to recount, pace the lip, for these are yet just cloves of regret, as spiral splits life now lost inside a tip.

Which is blood that pounds, and out of mind,

slips, slides, counters thoughts, and measures a rind, a sliver of all which was sublime.

As rendered and as cut down by so, left eviscerated to reap and sow,

death marks but a line, and yet none to time, time erased.

These moments are as all moments are still, lingers yet inside bitter spills,

the spell within whom woven we are yet to yearn, yet to learn, and yet to know,

as these unending dreams mended yet therein, are fashioned so, as to rend, to rot gut, to tend glistened stem.

To hear the cry, love is as fleeting, as the hollow shell resounds ever so, as her mercies bleed that which we claim to know.

Teeming with that which pain's us all, as we all are to know a final word and final breath, this little death...
